Crit feedback

I got some good pointers from todays crit session, unfortunately I have been suffering some eye problems that have prevented me from doing as much work as I have wanted to do over the last few weeks, and severely curtailed work in the last two, which has been intensely frustrating but I am doing all I can to get it sorted, just waiting for medical referrals.

As frustrating as this is I still need to think forward and try to chip away at work in the days I can. My calendar brief is visually interesting but badly need context so before I do more designing of this I need to decide the format it will ultimately take. Its potentially very interesting I think, and its unusual for me to have the work without a context as my work is generally context led so tacking this problem may result in an unexpected direction.

The Creative Networks flyers were positively commented on by a few people which was nice, and it was suggested I should push this brief further, signage/posters and other promo material could me easily made as the hard work is done. This is something I was wondering about but I dont want to spent too much more time on the brief, so perhaps a tight deadline and a small set of extra deliverables would be the best option here.

The film poster is still really rough work but again I had positive comments about the direction its going in, even if the crafting needs more work, thanks Fred! Again it was suggested the context might not be quite right and I should explore other uses for these as opposed to using 'love film' branding. I am thinking now as the other film ideas I had arn't as strong, I should look back at more bond film and see if a series of these can be developed, should be fun!
