I have been working on and off on this brief for a couple of weeks now so some blogging is needed on progress. Its turning into a more experimental brief which is good because some of the others I am currently doing are a little dry and structured. At this stage I dont know exactly what format the calendar will take, but I am working on having each month represented in a different way, but using the same graphical style over all, quite minimal hopefully.
These are a couple of months I have experimented with so far.
Still very much work in progress, but its developing a style that should look interesting.
I am developing ideas in illustrator from sketched roughs, which seems to be my mode of operation at the moment, here are some very rough roughs.
